Bookbuzz 2017

There was a buzz at Brook Green on Monday morning as all year 7 and 8 students at Brook Green received their Bookbuzz books!  Students chose a really wide variety* of books this year from the fabulous sounding Awesome Book of Awesomeness that includes ‘awesome’ information and fact.  Students also chose S.C.R.E.A.M by local author Andrew Beasley, The Croc and the Sock that includes a fierce crocodile puppet, the scary sounding book ‘The Blood Guard’ and Phoenix!  Some students selected graphic novels and books such as ‘Is There a Dog In This Book’ and ‘The Bad Guys’ by Aaron Blabey.  Finally, an amazing National Geographic book was included this year called Ocean Animals with many great pictures and information about our Oceans.  Students were really excited to receive their books which are free to the students and will be doing more work on their chosen books in their English lessons.
