STEM day at Brook Green

As part of National Science week we are celebrating all things Science Technology Engineering and Maths in our annual STEM day. Our theme this year is the work of Lewis Caroll, Jabberwocky vs Alice in Wonderland. Through out the day students have been taking part in a range of activities, ranging from croquet in the rain to making model jabberwockies, designing playing cards, using pressure to make things grow and shrink, creating mad hats, how electrons are used to power things, how clocks work, using macromedia to show metamorphosis and visiting the Butterfly farm in Buckfastleigh. The is due to finish with a mad hatters tea party.

A massive thank you to Linda and George from Plymouth Croquet club, for coming in to school and teaching students the basic of croquet & use of extra mallets and the Seiche Engineering for the loan of the croquet set.
