The Commonwealth War Graves CommissionOne of the many thought provoking activities that students took part in for Remembrance Day 2018 was researching the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website. We gave students the task of researching the following people who gave their lives in World War One. Students researched John Holt from Rochdale, Stanley Jenkin, Percy Jenkin and George Jenkin all from Cornwall and also William Robins Guy who was a gardener at Heligan. Students then made a poster in honour of the service these men gave in the First World War and wrote two whole class poems (which are shown on a separate blog).
