Ten Tors 2015After a pretty miserable night with only a couple of hours sleep Brook Green once again set off on the Jubilee Challenge.
The day started with poor weather and the start of the 15km or 9 mile walk began in damp and dark conditions. Despite this our students were in good spirits and we headed off up the hill. As the day progressed the weather did improve until, eventually whilst trekking up Yes Tor (the highest point in the South West at 619m) the clouds parted and we could see both North and South coasts. A beautiful sight.
Having got up Yes Tor it was all down hill back to camp. A great trip was had by all. An amazing effort by all the students a staff alike. Roll on next year.
