Financial Centre Of Excellence

At Brook Green we continue to be a 'Financial Centre Of Excellence' as awarded by Young Money to schools delivering the best financial education.  Young Money is a national charity which is sponsored by many major banks and other financial institutions aiming to make sure that every young person in the UK has a good understanding of everything involved with money and finance,  As part of our continuing participation in the scheme,during the first week of December, Mr Walters and Mrs Aherne attended their annual conference in London. 

We had the opportunity to work with other schools similar to ours and kept up to date in how best to deliver financial education.  It was an invaluable chance to make links with schools, links with different sponsors and collect brand new resources.  We will continue to work across all departments across the school, delivering a first class Financial Education to the benefit of all of our students.
