Jubilee Challenge

A massive congratulations to the 10 students that completed their Jubilee Challenge today. The team left school Friday morning to set up camp ready for a 5am wake up and 7.30 start of their 8.7mile walk on Dartmoor.

It was a privilege to be involved in this years Jubilee Challenge. The staff organised the expedition superbly which allowed the students to shine on the moor. Ten Tors weather was perfect not too hot and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to get out in the fresh air and take in some cracking views. The students were a credit to the school and for a couple of them it was the first time they had spent a night under canvas. It was also great to see students that had left and were taking part with their respective colleges. At the end everyone was exhausted but exhilarated to have completed the 8 mile course. Same again next year please.
