Zoo Trip 7JD

7JD had an outstanding time at Paignton Zoo on Wednesday! We saw the big cats, including the lions and tigers, as well as various primates, the rhino and many other great animals. We even had a talk from one of the keepers about the tigers including how they kill their prey, what they eat and also some of a discussion about the critically endangered animals in the zoo. The students asked interesting questions including ‘what do you feed your reticulated python?’ We found out that the answer was dead chickens with feathers that the python swallows whole!
