Friday saw the long-anticipated Whitleigh Lantern Parade. Year 7 and 9 students took part accompanied by their parents and carers. It was a lovely night and the lanterns looked very atmospheric. The students had a short walk along Bodmin Road and up Whitleigh Way ending at Whitleigh Green. There were a number of stalls that were sponsored by the local community and businesses and the Christmas tree lights were switched on. It was not quite a German Market but Whitleigh Big Local put on a great show and the students thoroughly enjoyed it, especially those lucky enough to have a go on the bouncy snow globe. Thank you to all the parents and carers who supported the Brook Green staff on the night.
