9LW Trip to Devil’s Point

On the 24th January 2023, 9LW took part in a trip to Devils Point. This was the final session of The Gathering project, which is an art-based project, celebrating Plymouth’s coast and learning about its history.

Firstly, the group took part in a coastal history walk with Richard Fisher. Following this, they worked with Tess Wilmot to learn about foraging. Finally, Gin Farrow led a performance/art session which involved story telling and making a mobile.

This was a fantastic learning experience for our students and a great way to appreciate our coast and its history.
