Miss Russell explored British Values with students today and asked students to complete the statements: I am special because... as well as I am proud to be British because... Students discussed aspects of British life that they were proud of such as giving to charities, the Armed Forces, coastlines, fish & chips, the NHS, Big Ben and even red phone boxes!

Students then created an amazing flag with their responses made up in red and blue like the Union Jack (or Union Flag - whichever you prefer to call the flag). Students also knew that democracy means a common vote and that they will be able to vote when they are old enough.
