Today some of our Year 11 students went along to City College Plymouth to look at the Skills Development unit. Skills Development work with students and look at things like independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting, employability skills, enterprise skills and building self-confidence. The Skills Development unit provides the perfect transition from school to further education and students get to try vocational options as part of their course.

We looked around the unit, the college canteen and the Student Union but the best bit by far was being treated to coffee and cake in the new Skills Development unit pop up cafe!
