Exim Dance and Taiko Drumming at Brook Green!

Year 8 students at Brook Green were lucky to have a return visit from Exim Dance and Drumming Group. It was a fantastic session where students had the opportunity to see their ideas for performance from a previous session brought to life by the dance and drum group. The performance was based on society and community and was a really moving and brought across ideas of happiness, community, loss, support and comfort.

Students then had the chance to join in with a workshop including movement, dance and using the amazing drums brought in by the Plymouth based professional dance company.

All in all, it was a fantastic morning with many energetic, fun and thought-provoking moments!
