Football - Speaking and Listening

One of our Year 11 Students is a dedicated Plymouth Argyle supporter. Here is a recent speaking and listening that shows what he feels about the team. The photograph shows some of the tickets and programmes this year 11 student has collected.

"Argyle are a good team. They are top of the league. I feel happy and excited when I watch them. I've been to hundreds of home and away matches. My favourite game was the Chelsea away game where we lost 2-1, but we still scored a goal and saved a goal. My favourite player is Michael Cooper who is the goalkeeper. The recent Exeter game was good because it was on Sky, but I went to the game. Argyle are the best team!
