Today, our Year 10 students visited Launchpad Live at Home Park. Launchpad Live is a careers fair aimed at giving students information about post-16 options from vocational courses, apprenticeships to the Armed Forces and beyond!

Students got stuck in and tried their hands at flight simulation, virtual reality, plastering, bricklaying, wheelbarrow racing and building bird boxes. There were lots of opportunities for discussion with training providers and lots of pens, pencils and sweets being given out!

After the event, we had a picnic before heading back to school to check out our loot (and the course flyers)!!

We will start looking at work experience placements with our Year 10 students shortly.
