Building Plymouth/ Classic Builders Mount Batten Water Sports Centre visit

As part of National Careers Week 2026, Building Plymouth work with various companies throughout the city allowing students the opportunity to investigate careers in construction. This year we visited Mount Batten Water Sports Centre to look at the work Classic Builders are doing to renovate the centre and groundworks around the tower. 

Huge thanks to Morven at Building Plymouth for organising these events and to Wayne, Kate, Noah and the team at Classic Builders for talking us through the project and talking to us about different trades within the construction industry from joiners, electricians, plasterers, admin roles to site management and beyond. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer and seeing the project at completion!
