Students from Brook Green supported by school staff attended a Raiders clinic. They had an amazing experience at Plymouth Pavillions. This included training with the coaches, meet and Greet with the Players and watching the Game.

London City Royals were the first visitors to the Plymouth Pavilions this season and kept the fans well and truly on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer, with the score ending 87-89 in favour of the visiting team.

Raiders started their first competitive game of the season with Josh Wilcher, Rashad Hassan, Kostas Jonuska, Denzel Ubiaro and Tyrell Johnson. The Royals lined up with Andrew Lawrence, Orlan Jackman, Elvisi Dusha, Will Neighbour and Ed Lucas.

One Brook Green Student had the opportunity of being ball boy. He expressed this was an amazing experience.

Top scorers for the Raiders were Rashad Hassan with 25 points and Josh Wilcher with 24 points. Jonuska added 12, Ubiaro had 10, Johnson 7, Brandon 4, Okiki 3 and Turner 2. The stand out performer from Royals was quite clearly GB international Andrew Lawerence who finished the game with 27 points and 9 assists.

Plymouth Raiders return to action next Sunday against current league champions London Lions at the Copper Box arena.
