A very close final quarter had the home fans, especially Brook Green students who could be heard around the stadium, on the end of their seats as the Newcastle Eagles managed to take the win 103-110 in the first of this seasons league games to be played at home.
After a slow first half, Raiders managed to pick up the pace and had a six point deficit with less than two minutes remaining.
A great day out was had by all and the students were a credit to Brook Green and themselves.
