On Friday last week we were grateful to accept a very kind offer from Succession Wealth to assist us with some maintenance work in and around school as part of their annual community work day.
Although a damp day, 9 volunteers turned up and keenly set about completing the three main tasks that we had asked them to do. In the morning they cut back and weeded the area alongside Key Stage 4 playground, then moved up to the front of school (in the now pouring rain!), and cut back all the plants growing through the fences running along from our top field gate accross to the carpark.
After a quick break for lunch and a much needed cuppa, they came in to the school and painted the Fitness Suite with a fresh coat of white paint.
It was lovely to see such cheerful kind people giving up their time to help us and the school looks so much better for all their hard work.
