Ten Tors - Jubilee Challenge

A smaller than usual group this year, but what a fantastic group! Weather was challenging on the Friday night and was cold overnight whilst camping. Bacon sandwiches made by Mrs Taylor and Mrs Lewis took the edge off the early start.

By the time of the start the sun was out and it was a beautiful sunrise. The sun stayed out for all the walk and BGCFL returned in good time and were only the third team to return to Okehampton camp.

Particular mention for Terry who achieved Silver medal for his second participation. Terry demonstrated excellent leadership whilst on the moor, helping staff and peers during tricky aspects of the challenge.

Well done Terry!
