Travel Training at Brook Green

Jay Horton from Plymouth City Council came into the school to launch the Year 10 Independent Travel Training Programme. The idea behind the project is to enable easier access to public transport around Plymouth . It is not just about reading a timetable but building confidence to travel safely around the city. Today the group did the Brook Green Loop and caught several buses to Derriford and back again. The students gained a better insight into Plymouth's transport network and also learnt patience from standing at various bus stops.
