Urban Arrow Shorty E-Cargo Bike

Plymouth City Council submitted a request to the Energy Saving Trust for a grant to purchase 40 E-cargo bikes for local businesses.

The EST promote sustainable transport and infrastructure. The first round of applicants was soon over-prescribed and we initially thought our application as an education establishment would be rejected. However on advice from Gareth at Bikespace I completed the application and we were successful. Our bike was sourced through Bikespace and they continue to support our efforts to promote sustainable and healthy transport options for our staff and students.

The E-Cargo bike is an amazing piece of kit and during our recent closure I used it to deliver learning packs and Free School Meals across the city in an environmentally friendly way.
