Village Fete Day!

Tuesday was the experience of Village Fete Day for all students and staff as part of Curriculum Challenge Week 2023.

To start with, students took part in the competition side of a Village Fete where they decorated biscuits, made Shrinkle keyrings, tray gardens, leaf art, made paper flowers, did origami, learnt Bollywood music and dance, wrote poetry and played sports.

In the afternoon, all of the school descended on the hall for the results of the competitions as well as 'snail racing' with toy snails, 4 in a row, quoits, hula hooping, steady hand science game, beanbag throwing, basketball hoops, how heavy is the house point trophy, keepie uppies, splat the rat, space hopper racing, rowing, lawn darts and darts!

We all had great fun and it was a fantastic day for everyone.
