We Went Sailing with the Island Sailing Trust

After a year delay due to COVID, we finally got to go sailing with the Island Sailing Trust, based at Mount Batten, Plymouth.

Monday and Tuesday saw blustery winds and at times heavy showers but despite

the weather students remained enthusiastic.

Sunny conditions on Wednesday made for an enjoyable journey up the River Tamar to see the warships.

Unfortunately, Thursdays sailing had to be postponed due to a forecast of gales.

Hopefully next year we will be able to take the Island Sailing Trust sailing week to another level! Watch this space.
