Youth Parliament, Make Your Mark

This week students from Brook Green have been taking part in the 2022 Member of Youth Parliament and Make Your Mark Votes. They chose two candidates to represent them as Plymouth Members of Youth Parliament. The result will be announced on March 9th. The votes have been counted for Brook Green and they have chosen Eden who stood on an Environmental platform she wanted to tackle pollution and deforestation. Second was Sonny, who wanted a greener transport system along with an idea to reforest Dartmoor. The students also had to choose an issue for the MYPs to discuss and debate at the National meeting to be held in the Houses of Parliament and the school chose Planning for Covid 19 Recovery.
