On Sunday February 27th a group of 15 students accompanied by 5 members of staff attended the Plymouth City Patriots Clinic at Plymouth Pavilions.
The students and staff had an amazing day from start to finish. They trained with Plymouth City Patriots community coaches, displaying skill and team work followed by a meet and greet with the Players with a question and answer session.
The afternoon’s action tipped off in Plymouth Pavilions as London Lions sought revenge for Friday’s loss at the hands of the Patriots. Friday’s game was settled by one score, and it was another close affair as the Lions picked up a much needed Championship win.
Plymouth started the game well and held the Lions to only 16 points in the first quarter, as a tense first half ended with a slender Plymouth lead.
In the fourth and final period the Patriots were the side who seized the initiative and held a seven-point lead with just over three minutes remaining. Then up stepped Lions sniper Lorenzo Cugini who drained a three pointer with eight seconds on the clock to secure a huge win in a thrilling encounter.

Our students were amazing and a credit to the school and themselves, their manners were impeccable throughout the day and their appreciation of the day they had.
Brook Green have scheduled in another whole day with Plymouth City Patriots on Sunday April 24th.
