Our Year 11 Future Foundations students officially launched their enterprise project today - a jacket potato cafe for staff!
Future Foundations is a life and employability skills programme and aims to prepare students for life beyond Brook Green. We cover topics including job applications, writing a CV, preparing for interview as well as personal hygiene and presentation. Last week we visited Launchpad Live to look at the various local colleges, training providers and employers.
Our enterprise project helps students develop practical teamwork and leadership skills alongside taught sessions around running a business, working out cost of sales, making a profit, digital presence and etiquette as well as achieving AQA unit awards in food hygiene and kitchen safety.
The baked potatoes went down a treat with staff today and we will continue this project over the duration of the course. Well done for all your hard work today team!!

I liked the mention of how the potatoes are cooked until the skins turn properly crisp while staying fluffy inside—it’s such a small detail but it really makes the difference. It got me thinking how something that simple can still feel quite comforting, especially compared to everything else going on day to day. Funny how even things like grabbing a baked potato can sit alongside totally different routines, like trying to keep up with deadlines or even looking into expert assignment help UK.
It’s really nice to see how the baked potato project brings real life learning into school, especially with teamwork and business skills. I remember doing a small project like this and feeling both nervous and excited. Around that time, I was also using Biology Dissertation help to manage my studies alongside activities like this. It taught me how important balance and practical experience are for future confidence.
What an excellent and useful project for the Year 11 students at Brook Green! Gaining real-life skills, such as how to budget and customer service is much more worthwhile than learning the theory. Sometimes students feel under pressure and think, think about, Pay Someone To Write My Assignment, but to provide them with real-time experiences is good practice for life outside of school. I am impressed that they are also gaining AQA unit awards in food hygiene and food safety—well done to the whole team!Pay Someone To Write My Assignment
