Experiences of the workplace - Devon Contractors

Over the last couple of years, Devon Contractors have offered the most incredible experiences of the workplace for our students, we've looked at Derriford Retail Park construction, visited the Freeport South site at Langage Business Park during construction and handover stages and today Carla, Joe, Pete and the team welcomed a group of Year 10 and 11 students to the Meadow View Adult Social Care Centre that is being built in home park. 

It was incredible to see the new site under construction and Joe talked about careers in construction, the various trades on site, apprenticeships and how the building would be used when it is complete. Students and Mrs Eglinton then had a chance to try their hand at bricklaying.
