Future Foundations market research

Today, our Year 11 Future Foundations class visited the city centre to look at different food vendors for their enterprise project.

We visited the Pannier Market and looked at several different stalls there including an incredible welcome from Yasmin Al-Sham who showed us the Syrian cuisine that they sell and brought out a tray of baklava for the students to try. It was absolutely delicious! 

We also visited other cafes and retailers to look at branding and prices. We also stopped for a quick sausage roll pit stop before interviewing the lovely team at Spud U Love. 

Over the coming weeks we will be working towards food hygiene certificates and looking to launch an enterprise project in school.
