Sardine Parade

Our students took part in 4 workshops with artist Fran Daykin to create an amazing costume.  On Saturday 20th June,  the costume was worn as part of the Gansey Gathering Sardine Festival, which reconnects the people of Plymouth with the sea. It was a celebration of traditional crafts, sustainable fishing and, the story of the sardines that once saved Plymouth from starvation.
