Working with Year 2 student teachers at Plymouth University on Thursday 2nd May.

Sarah Holt (Headteacher) and Sue Moore (HLTA for Literacy) enjoyed working with Year 2 student teachers at Plymouth University on Thursday 2nd May.

They talked to the students about the role of TLAs (Teaching and Learning Assistants), how this role has changed and how important TLAs are in supporting our young people. Sue drew on her 33 years of experience in school and explained how what she does has changed in that time.

Sarah commented, ‘The student teachers were amazing to work with – they had so many questions and were really engaged. The two hour session was not enough time!’
